Wilma and Mary

Please come to the first meeting of Wilma and Mary, a group of lesbian, bisexual, and queer identified women and their supporters.   It's apparently "the best-selling lesbian magazine". Their latest cover story on the upcoming movie, Itty Bitty Titty Committee, is intruiging...

I hope you guys are ready for the new semester begin! Hopefully Lambda will go to exciting new places as we progress through the year. The Activities Fair was a great success, special thanks to Safe Zone for sharing their table. I just got done adding a great 45 or so new e-mails to the list serv, so any new members reading this, welcome!

Although you'll probably get a little repeat of this in an e-mail, I have a couple of updates.

Our first meeting is September the 6th (that's a Thursday) in Tucker 106 at 7:30 in the p.m.

There's a lovely queer-friendly "Back to School" Yard Sale going on this Saturday down Jamestown road, right past the 711. You can call (757-710-8594) for more information/directions.

Other than that, a BIG BIG BIG shoutout to Caro for organizing this (hopefully soon-to-be-amazingly-fantastic) fantastic Blog.
